Waze real-time alerts are heading to Tesla's Rival Rivian in-vehicle navigation system, according to a post from Wasym Bensaid. The integration will begin with the 2026.31 over-the-air update and initially include speed camera and police report alerts on R1 and R2 vehicles.
Bensaid indicated that additional data and alert types will follow the initial rollout, though specific details on timing and which alerts are planned were not disclosed. The move represents an expansion of Waze's crowdsourced traffic and hazard-reporting features into Rivian's native navigation interface.
