NEWS: Tesla Korea CEO Seo Young-deuk testified at the National Assembly audit today (Oct 8, 2026).

• ~89,000 Teslas sold in Korea through September, ~90% Model Y
• ~45,000 of ~230,000 Korean customers can use FSD (incl. HW3)
• 100M+ km driven on FSD in Korea, no significant serious accidents reported
• US-made cars run FSD under the KORUS FTA; others are still blocked by domestic law
• Tesla Korea has not formally requested any test from MOLIT (Korea currently has no law that allows for FSD)
Asked if Tesla would apply for verification, he said Tesla will actively cooperate if MOLIT sets up a channel and framework.
