Tesla teases new Roadster with cryptic "Go for launch" post
A darkened image of the Roadster's tail hides a secret message visible only when brightness is boosted.
Tesla posted a cryptic tease on X on Saturday with just three words: "Go for launch." The image accompanying the post shows the tail end of the new Roadster, rotated upside down — a clear nod to the launch theme.
Eagle-eyed followers who adjusted the brightness and contrast on the image discovered a hidden message embedded in the dark background: "Where we're going." The phrase appears to be a deliberate Easter egg from Tesla's design or marketing team.
The teaser lines up with a previously announced Roadster unveiling event set for Waco on October 1. The new Roadster has been one of Tesla's most anticipated vehicles, with its reveal now apparently imminent.
What else the image may contain — or what "Where we're going" points to beyond the event itself — hasn't been confirmed. Tesla has not shared additional details alongside the post.
