Tesla's Semi for European markets features several design changes compared to the US version, nearly all dictated by regional regulations rather than aesthetic choices.

According to @teslawelt on X, the EU-spec Semi omits the front LED light strip found on US models, as such lights are not permitted on trucks in Europe. The vehicle also sports different wheels, rear wheel covers, and two additional lights mounted on top of the hood.

The account notes that "almost everything" about these differences stems from regulatory requirements specific to each market. Truck lighting, wheel design, and aerodynamic coverings are subject to strict regional safety and emissions standards, which explains why the same vehicle requires distinct configurations across jurisdictions.
