Tesla's Robotaxi app appears to have refined its minimap display, replacing a red arrow with an icon that represents the actual vehicle shape. The change was spotted by observer Aryan Butala, who noted that the customer version of Full Self-Driving has historically used a directional arrow instead.

The update represents a small but thoughtful refinement to the Cybercab's user interface. Showing riders the car's actual silhouette on the corner minimap provides a more intuitive sense of the vehicle's position and orientation during rides, rather than relying on an abstract directional marker.

Tesla has been iterating steadily on the Robotaxi experience, with the fleet in Texas now numbering 270 Cybercabs and service areas expanding. Interface refinements like this one contribute to the overall passenger experience, though Tesla has not yet officially detailed this particular change.

"Tesla @Robotaxi now appears to show the actual car on the corner minimap. I believe it used to show a red arrow like the customer version of FSD. Nice touch!"X · @butala_aryan
