Tesla has updated its Robotaxi page in the App Store to let riders select their preferred vehicle type, according to Sawyer Merritt. Users can now choose between a Cybercab or a Model Y for their robotaxi ride.

The update reflects Tesla's expanding autonomous vehicle lineup. The App Store description now reads: "Our Robotaxi vehicle lineup now includes Cybercab, our first purpose-built autonomous vehicle. Designed for safety, accessibility and comfort, Cybercab." The listing emphasizes the Cybercab as a vehicle purpose-built for autonomous operation.

This marks another step in Tesla's rollout of driverless ride-hailing service capabilities. The ability to choose between vehicle types gives riders options based on their preferences, whether they prioritize the specialized design of the Cybercab or the familiar Model Y platform.

"Tesla has updated their Robotaxi page in the App Store. You’ll be able to select if you want a Cybercab or Model Y Robotaxi. “Our Robotaxi vehicle lineup now includes Cybercab, our first purpose-built autonomous vehicle. Designed for safety, accessibility and comfort, Cybercab"X · @SawyerMerritt
