Tesla deploys first pre-assembled Megachargers for Semi ramp
New V4 charging units with dual posts capable of up to 1.2 MW each are now in the field.

Tesla Charging announced that the first pre-assembled Megachargers have been deployed to support the ramp of the Tesla Semi. "We're ready to support the Semi ramp," the team wrote on X.
Each unit is a V4 cabinet equipped with two posts, with charging capacity reaching up to 1.2 MW per post. The pre-assembled design suggests a faster deployment timeline compared to traditional on-site construction, streamlining infrastructure readiness as Semi production scales.
