SpaceX has been awarded three additional missions to carry NASA astronauts to the International Space Station, the company announced on X. The missions will fly aboard Falcon 9 and Dragon from Florida.

The contract modification brings SpaceX's total crew missions under NASA's Commercial Crew Transportation Capability agreement to 17. "To continue regular crew transportation to the @Space_Station, NASA has awarded @SpaceX three additional missions through a contract modification," NASA's Space Operations account wrote in a statement SpaceX shared. "This change brings the total missions for SpaceX to 17 and helps @NASA to maintain access to the space station with two unique commercial crew industry partners."

The three new flights are designated as Crew-15, 16, and 17. NASA's commercial crew program relies on private partners to ferry astronauts to and from the orbiting laboratory, reducing the agency's reliance on any single provider.
