Ron Baron: FSD adoption surging, time to buy Tesla stock
Investor Ron Baron cites 55% FSD adoption rate among new Tesla buyers as evidence the feature is gaining mainstream traction.

Investor Ron Baron expressed confidence in Tesla's prospects in a recent interview, pointing to growing adoption of Full Self-Driving as a key driver. "The time to buy the stock is now. FSD is catching on, and it's going to be bigger and bigger," Baron said. "55% of new buyers are buying it with FSD. It's going to be everywhere. It's safer."
Baron's comments reflect broader industry attention to Tesla's autonomous driving capabilities. FSD Supervised, Tesla's latest iteration, continues to roll out to customers and has been tested extensively in markets including Spain and North America. The feature handles highway driving, intersections, and lane changes while maintaining driver oversight requirements.
