Model Y leads South Korea auto sales for second straight month

The Model Y topped South Korea's overall automotive market in August, following a first-place finish in July, according to data from the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA). Tesla's Korean account attributed the wins to customer trust and loyalty.

Tesla also extended its streak as the country's leading import brand to seven consecutive months. The automaker credited owners for the achievement, framing the sales momentum as part of its broader mission toward "an astonishingly abundant world."
