"Here's another attempt to better capture the one gripe I have with Tesla's new foldable UI. The normal "closed" view is fine. Upon unfolding, the "closed" layout is stretched out to fill the screen. Only when I unfold and rotate the device does it finally switch to the new big screen UI.
Unsure if this is by design, considering that they have to worry about compatibility with other foldables and the various screen aspect ratios.
The new UI itself is great, but doesn't feel cohesive when the layout split runs perpendicular to the screen crease.
@tesla @AlexGuichet @ianzelbo if possible, could you please allow the new UI on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold (and devices with similar aspect ratios) to show in both unfolded orientations (landscape and portrait)"
