Grok AI in Tesla gains connectors for inbox, calendar management
Tesla's Grok can now manage emails and schedules hands-free through new connector integrations.
Tesla announced that Grok, the AI assistant available in its vehicles, can now perform productive tasks through new connectors. "With Connectors, you can manage your inbox, clean up your calendar, or talk through existing files/chat/tasks – all hands-free," Tesla wrote on X.
The connectors expand Grok's utility beyond conversation and voice commands, allowing Tesla owners to handle work-related activities without taking their hands off the wheel or eyes off the road. The feature supports email management, calendar organization, and interaction with files and chat logs while driving.
This builds on Tesla's ongoing effort to make Grok a more functional in-vehicle assistant. The system joins other hands-free capabilities Tesla has rolled out, positioning the AI as a productivity tool rather than purely an entertainment or information feature.
