Giga Texas ramps production with Cybercabs, Model Ys after long weekend
Tesla's Texas factory shows hundreds of vehicles in the outbound lot, including Cybercabs equipped with Starlink modules.
Giga Texas is back to full capacity following a long weekend, with the factory showing signs of robust production across multiple vehicle lines. According to observer Joe Tegtmeyer, "the outbound lot is the appearance of hundreds of Model Ys and many more Cybercabs and for the 1st time equipped with the Starlink module on the hatch in big numbers."
The presence of large numbers of Cybercabs fitted with Starlink connectivity hardware marks a notable shift in production readiness. The integration of Starlink modules on Cybercabs suggests Tesla is equipping the vehicles with satellite internet capability as the autonomous robotaxi program advances toward wider deployment.
The high volume of Model Y units alongside the Cybercabs indicates the factory continues balancing mass-market vehicle production with development of its robotaxi platform. The post-holiday production surge reflects typical post-break manufacturing patterns as the facility returns to normal operations.
