Elon Musk offers to reimburse user if Grok Bot makes mistakes with his finances
Musk personally vouched for the AI tool, telling one user they would cover the cost of any errors the bot causes when connecting it to a bank account.
Elon Musk is publicly backing Grok Bot with a personal guarantee, telling X user @Teslaconomics to try connecting the AI tool the their bank account and promising that any mistakes it makes will be remedied. "Try it out. If Grok Bot messes up, we will make you whole," Musk wrote on X.
The brief but notable exchange suggests Musk has enough confidence in Grok Bot's reliability to put a direct assurance behind it, at least for this user.
This all kicked off with @Teslaconomics X post that wondered:
"Just wondering… has anyone actually connected Grok Bot to their bank account yet?
I’m seriously thinking about doing it."
Grok is xAI's AI assistant, and versions of it are increasingly integrated across Tesla and X products. The comment arrives as Grok continues to expand its capabilities, with Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0 recently topping a speech-to-speech AI benchmark.
