Tesla's Cybercab has been trained on more than 16,000 lifetimes of driving data, according to the robotaxi account on X. The vehicle's autonomous system relies on cameras that provide 360-degree perception, enabling it to see in all directions simultaneously.

Unlike human drivers, the Cybercab's vision and decision-making systems do not experience fatigue or distraction. The training dataset—equivalent to cumulative miles far exceeding what any single vehicle could accumulate—helps the system recognize and respond to a wide variety of road conditions and scenarios.

The framing underscores Tesla's approach to autonomous driving safety: redundant perception and tireless computational monitoring, rather than a single operator's attention span.
