Apple Car Key support expanding to Lincoln, Freelander, Lucid

Apple's digital car key feature in Wallet is expanding to three more automakers, according to findings in Apple's backend, as reported by MacRumors. The three companies newly added for Apple Car Key support are Lincoln, Freelander, and Lucid.

The discovery suggests Apple is continuing to broaden adoption of its iPhone-based car key feature beyond the manufacturers already offering the capability. The digital key allows users to unlock and start compatible vehicles using their iPhone or Apple Watch.

No timeline for when these three brands will make the feature available to customers was indicated in the report.
