For our new affordable midsize electric truck, the @Ford Fathom, we aren't stripping out features customers want. We're innovating. We have fundamentally reimagined how we design and manufacture vehicles to make them more affordable.
These aluminum castings replace 146 structural parts with just two, reducing weight, improving efficiency and enabling our new Universal Production System at the Louisville Assembly Plant, which allows us to build major sections of the vehicle simultaneously before bringing them together.
